Vendor Management & Purchasing program

Aim of the course

The course aims to help develop key professional skills and the overall confidence of a Buyer or Purchasing Manager regardless of their sector. The Group will share International best practice, discuss current issues and explore specific working methods. The Course is to be led by an experienced strategist and business leader / director with personal experience from the UK, Estonia, Wider Europe, the Far East, India and Bangladesh.

The course is in English.

Potential delegates

Buyers, Purchasing Managers, Category Managers as well as those in other roles/functions/leadership positions who are keen to find out more about the Buyer and their issues/potential effects on a business.


The Course will run as an interactive workshop. Delegates should be ready to talk openly and address real world problems and opportunities by asking open/honest questions. Some overnight “homework” may be required. The course will run in an informal flexible style and delegates will be required to participate with enthusiasm in order to get the maximum benefit. The Course will be run in English language and we anticipate that delegates will support each other in order to ensure the while group understands the key points. Some of the math modules will be demonstrated in Microsoft Excel, but delegates should bring a pencil and a calculator and will become competent in using both.
